Permanent Makeup

What is permanent make-up?:

Permanent make-up (PM) or micro pigmentation is the technique of tattoo that places pigment beneath the upper layers of the skin. Meant to reproduce designs that resemble make-up such as eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip color.

How is it performed?:

It is performed with traditional coil, rotary or pen machines. There is some discomfort but each persons pain level is different. We use topical anesthetics specifically designed for the industry.

After making an appointment, and all procedures have been discussed with the technician, pre-photos are taken for records.

For eyebrows, once the shape and size is drawn on the area and is acceptable to the client an anesthetic is applied 20-30 min before procedure starts. Eyebrows are either powder or hair stroke. Any session can take approx 2-3 hours.

For eyeliner, the same procedures are followed but do not require previous drawing as the tech is following the lash line.

Lipliner may also be drawn on and approved before work begins.'

What equipment is used?

PM is safe with the proper sterilization and disinfection guidelines. All needles are new, sterile, and sealed in single use packets. Safety precautions are followed in accordance with OSHA and state mandates as in regular tattooing.

How do I make an appointment?

A $50.00 deposit is required to make an appointment. There is no refund for a no-call no show. Cancellations and reschedules must be done within 48 hours. The artist had the right to refuse service to client and can prescreen. No one under the age of 18, in accordance with state law. No parental consent. Artist will not work over another technicians work without a prior consultation. All procedures and after-care will be provided by technician.

After care?

After care instructions are discussed when procedure is complete. A 6-8 week follow up is scheduled before leaving. This gives the skin time to heal and let the color come through. 1 free follow up is included after 2 months up to one year.
